Giselle McLachlan

Grounded founder Giselle McLachlan is a governance and leadership specialist. Giselle is all about down to earth governance and business advice, and thrives on building sustainable businesses alongside healthy leaders and lives.

She helps businesses to make time to work on their strategy, rather than being immersed in the day-to-day. She brings advice, courage, and support to her coaching and facilitation work. Giselle has built a life out of doing things differently, constantly learning, and challenging herself.  Grounded is close to her heart.

Giselle loves to take the “bored” out of board meetings and the “work” out of paperwork. She can help your business flourish, with compassion, balance, and resilience while acting as a safe person to talk to about your business challenges.  Her background includes being a lawyer for decades, an insurance executive, a CEO, and General Manager. Giselle is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors and she has facilitated hundreds of days of workshops and training sessions.

Abbey Soper

Abbey is our “behind the scenes” person who makes sure everything happens as it should.

Abbey is kept busy supporting Giselle and the Grounded team, ensuring our clients experience governance at its simplest. Friendly and down to earth, just like Grounded, Abbey will be the first contact with many of Grounded’s clients.

Greg Delaney

Greg Delaney is a strategy and change specialist. He has supplemented his real-world governance and management experiences with world class education. He shares his lessons in a pragmatic, down to earth strategy principles and practices.

Greg loves exploring what’s possible with his clients and supporting them to operate in their strategic stretch zone.  He particularly enjoys helping directors drive and sustain strategic change and create measurable value for their organisation. Greg is a positive and energetic communicator and is known for his skills at developing powerful, simple and memorable messages. 

Greg is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.

Greg delivers our Strategy Workshops. Available from March  2022.  

Kirsten Kyle

An enthusiastic self-starter with a natural ability to understand and communicate information in creative ways to clients, Kirsten holds an undergraduate degree in psychology, a post graduate diploma in Marketing and is a qualified Prince 2 Practitioner.

Kirsten has a wealth of experience in marketing and combines her project management and product development skills to deliver simple and easy to use governance products.

Well versed in utilising different types of technology, Kirsten strives to ensure processes are intuitive and streamlined.
